Micro Miniature and Ultra miniature Circular Connectors are a new class of military aerospace interconnects that deliver comparable performance to larger form-factor connectors such as MIL-DTL-38999 but in significantly smaller and lighter packaging. Micro Miniature connectors for aerospace applications such as Glenair Mighty Mouse, also sometimes called Micro 38999, can reduce connector size and weight as much as 50% compared to legacy solutions and are now broadly specified in all classes of manned and unmanned aircraft, spacecraft, soldier systems, land and sea robotics, and elsewhere.
