Shield Termination Bands and Tools

Terminate cable braid shield to adapter with stainless steel Band-Master ATS® bands. Install band with hand tool or bench-mounted pneumatic tool. Bands are available in Standard (.24 inch) and Micro (.12 inch) widths. Slim Standard and Micro Slim bands have reduced thickness for weight reduction. Hardened steel Micro-Max bands have 60% more tensile strength than standard Micro bands. Available pre-coiled, bands are 304 series stainless steel, passivated.

Anti-static dust caps fit Micro-D and MIL-DTL-83513 connectors. These caps provide electrostatic protection to sensitive equipment. These caps meet the static decay requirement of MIL-PRF-81705. Surface resistivity is greater than 1 x 105 ohms/square and less than 1 x 1012 ohms/square. Black LDPE.

Attachment choices include cable tie, slip knot or stainless steel ring. Not rated for water immersion.
