Design Features
- Threaded coupling design, captive
- Fifteen shell sizes--Range 8 thru 48 (.50 to 3.00 diameter)
- Wide variety of contact sizes, standard density; 1 to 100 contacts
- Conductive finish--Cadmium/olive drab, 500 hour salt life, and electroless-nickel options
- Stainless steel class available for severe environments
- Controlled accessory interface per MS3155
- Cork and bottle interface seal and shell environmental seal, fuel resistant fluorosilicone elastomers
Notes
- Same interface features as MS3100 and MS3106; intermateable
- Rugged construction to meet severe shipboard applications
- Connector shell may strike pin contacts, thus power should always be on socket contacts
- Single keying may not always insure shell polarizing
- Accessory thread size and geometry is not intermateable with MIL-DTL-5015, 3100 series solder type connector accessory
