Design Features
- Threaded coupling design
- Fifteen shell sizes--Range 8 thru 48 (.50 to 3.00 diameter)
- Wide variety of contact sizes, standard density; 1 to 100 contacts
- Conductive finish--Cadmium/olive drab, 96 hour corrosion protection
Notes
- Contacts may mate prior to connector shell mating
- Plug or receptacle may have pin or socket contacts
- Connector shell may strike pin contacts, thus power should always be on socket contacts
- Single Keying may not always insure shell polarizing
- Uncontrolled accessory interface
- Accessory thread size and geometry is not intermateable with MIL-DTL-5015, series 3400 crimp type connector accessory
